The Tat B Gone system is marketed as one of the simplest, most affordable and convenient methods of tattoo removal.

Tat B Gone helps you to gently fade away your tattoo. The company’s products are comparatively affordable and will help you fade your tattoo in your own home without pain, scabbing or scarring, or any visits to the doctor.

The kit consists of a 3-step system that was developed by Norwegian Doctor Jahn Ericson. The system is clinically tested and approved for safety and is now formulated in an FDA licensed lab.

How Does It Work?

When used daily, the system will help to fade your tattoo over an average of 3 to 9 months.

The following variables will affect the speed and results:

  • The type and amount of ink that was used
  • The age of the tattoo
  • The depth of the ink
  • The ink color(s) – lighter inks tend to fade more quickly, while darker and deeper ones usually take longer. You can safely continue using Tat B Gone for as long as it takes to achieve your desired results.

The System has 3 steps:

Two of the creams are combined (one on top of the other) to activate the patent-pending formulation which penetrates the skin to break down the inks. The instructions require twice daily application of each product.

Step 1-This scrub prepares the tattoo area by gently cleaning the top micro-layers of skin.

Step 2-Includes activate ingredients that absorb into and breakdown the ink.

Step 3-Infuses the fade away action

I was wondering if this is okay to use on a darker skin tone. My tone is a tad lighter than Tiger Woods. I have a tattoo that is an amateur one with only the use of black ink. It’s fairly big, About an inch high and seven-eight inches wide. I’m sure that doesn’t matter in removal, except maybe longer treatments. But I just wanted to give some information on it. I just need the information on the skin tones.

    Thank You,
    Kirk

    Hi Kirk,

You’re in luck with darker pigments – they are typically the easiest to remove – with numerous removal methods.

However, per Wikipedia: complications of laser tattoo removal include the potential of discoloration such as hypopigmentation (whiter or lighter spots, more common in darker skin) and hyperpigmentation (which causes darker spots) as well as textural changes to the skin surface.

If your ever at the doctor’s office, they could explain more, likely without charging just to ask this sort of question.

    Good luck bud.
